Board Changes
New Non-Executive Director
DCC plc, the leading international sales, marketing and support services group, announces the appointment of Ms. Laura Angelini as a non-executive Director and member of the Governance and Sustainability Committee with effect from the conclusion of the Company's AGM today.
Ms. Angelini is a highly experienced business leader with extensive knowledge of the healthcare sector. She has more than 25 years of experience in medical devices across multiple therapies and business models, including hospital products, consumer MedTech and home therapies. Ms. Angelini recently retired as General Manager of Baxter International's global Renal Care business, having joined Baxter in 2016 in this role. She previously held senior roles in Johnson & Johnson from 1991 to 2016.
Ms. Angelini has been a member of the Board of Trustees of Jacksonville University since 2018.
There are no details to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13 in respect of Ms. Angelini.
Following the appointment of Ms. Angelini, DCC will be fully compliant with the recommendations of the Hampton-Alexander and Parker Reviews on board diversity.
Appointment of Chairman
In accordance with the Company's Stock Exchange announcement of 18 May 2021, Mr. John Moloney will retire as a non-executive Director and Chairman of DCC at the conclusion of the Company's AGM today.
Mr. Mark Breuer, non-executive Director and Chairman Designate, will succeed Mr. Moloney as Chairman. Mr. Breuer will also become Chairman of the Governance and Sustainability Committee and will resign as a member of the Audit Committee.
