PLUS Markets Group plc31 December 2008Director's Dealing

The Board of PLUS Markets Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 24 December 2008 it received formal notification from Nicholas Smith, a director of the Company, that for the purposes of Rule 17 of the AIM Rules, 478,571 Ordinary Shares of 5p each ("the Shares") in the share capital of PLUS Markets Group plc, beneficially owned by Mr Smith and registered in the name of Clariden Leu Ltd, a provider of private banking services ("Clariden Leu"), are included in a package of assets charged pursuant to a loan agreement, entered into on 12 April 2007, between Mr Smith and Clariden Leu.

The total number of Shares in issue is 314,684,130 with each Share carrying the right to one vote. There are no Shares held in treasury. The total number of voting rights in PLUS Markets Group plc is 314,684,130.
