Directorate Change and Withdrawal of General Meeting Request
Directorate Change
PLUS Markets Group plc ("PLUS" or the "Company") wishes to announce that Giles Vardey has taken the decision to step down as Chairman and Non-Executive Director with immediate effect, for personal reasons. The Board wishes to thank Giles for his significant contribution to PLUS since February 2010.
The Board has commenced the process of identifying and appointing a new Chairman of the Company and will update the market on this as required. In the interim period, Malcolm Basing will take the role of Interim Non-Executive Chairman.
Withdrawal of General Meeting Request
Further to the Company's announcement on 24 October 2011, the Company has received notice from Amara Dhari Investments Limited that it has withdrawn its request to call a General Meeting of the Company.
