£82m Share Scheme Vests for 146 Employees

GlobalData Plc, the leading provider of industry intelligence, is pleased to announce that as part of a goal to align employees to the long-term success of GlobalData, 146 long-term employees have benefited from the Group's share option scheme, with share awards representing a total sum of £82m vested in August 2022.

The Group created a share option scheme ("Scheme 1") in 2010, granted the first options on 1 January 2011, with the scheme remaining open to new entrants until 31 December 2020. The scheme was subject to a £52m Adjusted EBITDA performance target, which was met last year.

When options were first granted under Scheme 1, the Group had reported revenues of £54m and Adjusted EBITDA of £7m. Since then, growth over the period 2011-2021 represents a revenue CAGR of 13% and an Adjusted EBITDA CAGR of 23%.

Subsequent employee share option schemes created in 2019 and 2021 remain open to Global Data employees and are scheduled to vest between February 2025 and February 2027. The CEO did not participate in Scheme 1 or the 2019, 2020 schemes.
