Catena (AIM: CTNA), a UK based venture capital company focused upon acquiring or investing in companies operating in high growth industries, announces that Richard Owen, Executive Chairman, has resigned as a director of the Company with immediate effect for personal reasons. Matthew Farnum-Schneider, Chief Executive, has been appointed as Interim Chairman until a permanent Chairman is identified and appointed.
Matthew Farnum-Schneider, Chief Executive, commented:
"I would like to thank Richard for his significant contribution to the Company throughout its history. He has been an invaluable resource to me and the rest of the Board. I wish him well for the future."
Richard Owen commented:
"It is with regret that I have tendered my resignation and I thank all my colleagues in the Company for the support they have given me over my tenure. I also wish them and the Company all the success that they deserve."
