Executive Committee

READING, UNITED KINGDOM (3 April 2017) - It is with deep regret that the Company announces the death of Mike Sgrignari, Executive Vice President, Operations and member of the Executive Committee of ConvaTec Group Plc.

Paul Moraviec, Chief Executive Officer, said:

"Mike was a hugely talented executive who made a significant and valuable contribution to the development and performance of the Company. On behalf of the management and employees of ConvaTec I wish to publicly express our condolences to Mike's family, colleagues both past and present and friends, for their loss."

Since joining ConvaTec in 2015, Mike has built a strong and highly experienced team which will continue to focus on the execution of the Company's Margin Improvement Programme.

Robert Steele, Executive Vice President, Quality, Regulatory & Clinical Affairs will assume interim responsibility for the Operations function.
