INTENTION TO CANCEL LISTING OF SHARES ON FRANKFURT STOCK EXCHANGE
Caterpillar Inc. hereby announces that it has applied for the cancellation of the listing of its shares of common stock of $1.00 par value (the "Common Stock") on the regulated market (regulierter Markt) General Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, which will result in the cancellation of the trading of its Common Stock on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, effective at midnight on 28 February 2014.
Following the effectiveness of the Frankfurt delisting and the cancellation of the admission to listing of all of its Common Stock on the Official List and the admission of its shares to trading on the London Stock Exchange to take effect on 19 December 2013, Caterpillar's Common Stock will still be listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), NYSE Euronext Paris and the SIX Swiss Exchange.
