The Board of Croma, the AIM listed security, access control and homeland defence specialist, was informed on the 9 July 2008 that on the 9 July 2008 its non-executive Chairman, Andrew Nicholas Hewson, purchased 250,000 ordinary shares at a price of 2.25p each to be held in his SIPP.

In addition, the Company was informed on the 9 July 2008 that a further 250,000 ordinary shares were purchased on 13 June 2008 at a price of 3p each also to be held in his SIPP.

As a result of these puchases Mr Hewson now holds a total of 3,854,342 ordinary shares, which represents approximately 2.17% of the total issued share capital of the Company. All these shares are held in Mr Hewson's SIPP.

This share purchase brings the total number of shares held by the Board to 21,807,976, representing 12.29% of the total issued share capital of the Group.
