Murata update
Ā
The board of CAP-XX is deeply saddened by the recent tragic events in Japan. In our recent trading update of March 7th we announced that Murata had shipped its first CAP-XX licensed products in December 2010 from its recently commissioned manufacturing lines at Yusa, Japan. We have received confirmation that Murata's facility and the line are not directly affected by the recent earthquake in Japan. The Sony HDR-PJ30V and HDR-PJ40V range of digital HD camcorders, recently launched, which incorporate the Murata supercapacitor into their twin LED camera flash are manufactured in China.
Ā
The board remains confident of a successful outcome for the current year, in line with market expectations.
