Master Distributor Agreement with Waldom to Expand Global Reach

CAP-XX (AIM: CPX), a world leader in ultra-thin supercapacitors, is pleased to announce a new Master Distributor Agreement with Waldom Electronics. This strategic partnership will enhance global accessibility to CAP-XX's supercapacitor solutions by leveraging Waldom's extensive distribution network allowing CAP-XX to extend its reach to high-volume global distributors, including Arrow Electronics, Inc. and Avnet, Inc.

Waldom Electronics, a leading master distributor of electronic components selling exclusively to other distributors and never to OEMs, will also play a crucial role in the supply chain by enabling local and niche distributors to purchase CAP-XX products in smaller quantities. This mitigates investment risks for smaller distributors.

Waldom is headquartered in Rockford, Illinois, US and maintains a strong global presence, with operations in North America, Europe and Asia. As part of this agreement, the initial inventory will be established in Europe, followed by expansion into the US and later Asia. By utilising Waldom's centralised inventory model and efficient logistics, it is anticipated that CAP-XX will benefit from streamlined product availability and faster delivery times to its distribution partners.

Lars Stegmann, CEO at CAP-XX said: "We are delighted to partner with Waldom as a master distributor. This agreement allows us to better serve our growing customer base, particularly in high-volume markets, while offering smaller distributors the flexibility to access our products without high minimum order requirements."

Don Akery, President and CEO of Waldom said: "We are delighted to partner with CAP-XX to optimize supply chain efficiency and provide greater accessibility to their industry-leading supercapacitors. As demand for energy storage solutions continues to grow, this collaboration allows us to better support distributors and ensure that CAP-XX's innovative products reach the market with speed and reliability."

For over 75 years, Waldom Electronics has been "The Distributor's Distributor", a Master Distributor of electronic and electrical components, selling exclusively to a global network of over 2,500 Distributors, never to OEMs or end-users. Waldom offers both manufacturers and distributors a wide variety of supply chain solutions while stocking over 225,000 unique part numbers from over 50 industry-leading Manufacturers, at reduced Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) and available for immediate shipment.
