CPL Resources PLC24 October 2006 CPL RESOURCES PLC AGM Statement The Chairman of CPL Resources plc, John Hennessy, made the following statementat the Company's Annual General Meeting today. "The CPL Group has continued to perform strongly since 30 June 2006 and resultsfor the six months to 31 December 2006 are likely to exceed current marketexpectations. Trading has been strong across most sectors of the group's business, reflectingcontinued growth in the Irish economy and labour market. The Group's permanentplacement business has continued to perform well, and demand remains buoyant fortemporary and contract employees.
