CPPGroup Plc (CPP or the Group) today announces that Brent Escott has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. A process to identify a new Chief Executive Officer for the Group will commence immediately and in the interim, Eric Anstee will assume the role of Executive Chairman. During the transition period, Craig Parsons, Group Chief Financial Officer and Charles Crawford, Group Chief Operating Officer will report to Eric Anstee directly.

Since his appointment in August 2013 as Chief Executive Officer, Brent has successfully stabilised CPP, improved processes, strengthened regulatory relationships and significantly reduced the Group's cost base. As the Group moves forward to the next stage of its development with a clear focus to realise the future commercial opportunities that exist, the Board believes this is best undertaken by new leadership.

Eric Anstee, Executive Chairman, commented:
