Chorion PLC21 March 2006 22 March 2006 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Chorion PLCStatement re adjournment of Court Meeting and Chorion EGM In light of current circumstances and having regard in particular to theapproach received from HIT Entertainment Limited (and an approach from one otherpotential offeror), the Independent Directors of Chorion PLC ("Chorion")consider that it would be in the best interests of Chorion shareholders toadjourn the two meetings of shareholders which have been convened for thiscoming Friday 24 March 2006 in order to consider the terms of a recommendedacquisition of Chorion by Planet Acquisitions Limited, a new company owned by 3iInvestors together with the Chorion management team, to be effected by means ofa scheme of arrangement (the "Proposals"), so as to allow these other potentialofferors a limited period of time to consider whether or not they intend to putforward a formal offer for Chorion. For technical reasons, the two meetings convened for 24 March 2006 will have tobe opened as scheduled, but the chairman of the meeting will propose at thebeginning of each meeting that it be adjourned to a specified time and place ofwhich not less than seven clear days' notice shall be given. It is intendedthat a resolution to adjourn each of the meetings will be the only resolutionconsidered at each meeting and that no other business will be conducted at themeetings. If the adjournment resolutions are passed the Proposals will beconsidered at the adjourned meetings.
