Mondas PLC21 July 2006 Mondas plc("Mondas" or "the Company") Pre-Close Trading Update Mondas plc the specialist provider of software solutions to the financialservices and education markets, is pleased to announce that it has secured anumber of material orders which has resulted in a small profit after interestfor the six month period ended 30 June 2006. All divisions generatedcontribution. Evolution Group plc contracted for additional user licences following itsacquisition of Williams de Broe plc and extended the term of the existinglicence. Ferris Baker Watts, a US investment company, went live with the firstdelivery of our Application Service Provider (ASP) model of Blue Curve, wherethe application is delivered over the Internet. Further orders were secured for licences and professional services from existingusers of Radica CAPS. This is in addition to the contracts previously announcedwith JM Finn and Panmure Gordon in April and May respectively. The Company iscurrently detecting an increased level of confidence from its financial sectorclients across all business areas and this is reflected in the higher level ofnew business wins and strengthening prospect pipeline. The Company expects very shortly to sign a contract for the licencing of BlueCurve to one of the world's largest financial services organisations based inthe United Kingdom. The contract is expected to contain a significant softwarelicence element as well as the usual professional services and support fees, themajority of which is expected to be recognised in the current financial year. The Business Systems Division, which specialises in applications within theeducation sector, has concluded contracts with thirteen new colleges and schoolsfor its Resource 32000 accounting software solution. Increased licence sales,higher recurring revenues and the successful integration of Eclipse LearnerSystems substantially benefited the division's profitability.
