Further Positive Drilling Results from the Pakrut Licensed Area

Kryso Resources plc (AIM:KYS), the mineral exploration and development company with gold and nickel-copper projects in Tajikistan, is pleased to report further encouraging assay results from drilling completed during 2011 at its Pakrut gold deposit and at its exploration projects at Eastern Pakrut and in the Rufigar area.

Highlights of drill hole intersections (all true widths of ore zones):

Pakrut

Ore Zone 1: 27.13m @10.59g/t, 4.65m @5.59g/t Au Ore Zone 2: 4.18m @ 3.42g/t Au Ore Zone 3: 18.85m @ 7.47g/t Au Ore Zone 6: 6.53m @ 12.08g/t Au

Rufigar and Eastern Pakrut

Ore Zone 2, Central Rufigar: 14.07m @ 3.11g/t Au Ore Zone 1, Upper Rufigar: 5.98m @ 2.31g/t Au Ore Zone 2, Upper Rufigar: 4.63m @ 2.35g/t Au Road cut at Eastern Pakrut Ore Zone 14: 9.5m @ 4.56g/t Au

The main objectives of the 2011 diamond drill programme were two-fold:

1. Beginning in April, exploration drilling was continued at Eastern Pakrut, and preliminary exploration drilling commenced in the Rufigar area with Kryso's three existing drill rigs.

2. Beginning in August, after the commissioning of two new more powerful drilling rigs, drilling commenced at Pakrut to improve the definition of the Pakrut resources and verify their continuation at depth.

At Eastern Pakrut, Central Rufigar and Upper Rufigar, while only moderate gold grades were intersected, Kryso is encouraged that every drill hole intersected mineralisation. It is anticipated that grades and thickness will increase at deeper levels as they did at Pakrut. In addition, Eastern Pakrut is 650m geologically higher than the main Pakrut ores zones which are over two kilometres to the west down the Pakrut River valley.

At Pakrut, Ore Zone 1, which from previous drilling indicated a strike length of approximately 100m from west to east, was found to be continuing eastwards at deeper levels in 2010. Two deeper holes in 2011 now show that mineralisation is still plunging downwards and to the east, and the intersections highlighted above are 650m below adit level.

The intersections in Ore Zone 3 and 6 are very encouraging, where nearly 19m @ 7.47g/t Au is the best intersection to date for Ore Zone 3.

The total metrage drilled in 2011 was 8,895m of which 5,240m was at Pakrut. Kryso has drilled 36,256m in total since 2005.

The 2011 assay results were received from the Intertek Group in Beijing, China, an independent assay laboratory.

Kryso intends to report an updated resource estimate to the market in the second quarter of 2012.

Kryso has recently purchased two additional powerful diamond drilling rigs - making a total of seven diamond drill rigs and one RC rig on site. During 2012 it is planned to drill approximately 10,000m at Pakrut of which 8,000m will be at the deeper levels and approximately 2,500m each at Eastern Pakrut and in the Rufigar area.

Craig Brown, Managing Director of Kryso, commented:

"We are delighted to report these excellent drilling results which once again demonstrate the huge potential for expanding the resource at Pakrut. We are also encouraged by the continuing eastward extension of the lower levels of Ore Zone 1 and by the consistency of thickness and grade which supports all of the previous drilling results from all of the Pakrut ore zones. The results further support our belief that Pakrut will develop into a significant underground gold mining operation and give us added confidence for the future. Kryso is also encouraged by the potential resources at both the Rufigar prospects and at Eastern Pakrut."

About the Pakrut Gold Project

The Pakrut gold project, of which Kryso has 100% ownership, is situated in Tajikistan approximately 112km northeast of the capital city Dushanbe Pakrut has estimated total JORC compliant resources of 3,578,000oz Au (assuming a cut-off grade of 0.0 g/t Au) and is located within the Tien Shan gold belt, which extends from Uzbekistan into Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and western China, and which hosts a number of multi-million ounce gold deposits.

About Tajikistan

Tajikistan is a secular republic located in Central Asia. The country is a member of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. Tajikistan hosts numerous operating precious metal mines as well as the largest aluminium smelter in Central Asia. Kryso's management team has extensive experience in the mining industry in Tajikistan.
