Communisis PLC10 December 2007 10 December 2007 Communisis plc Board Appointments Communisis plc is pleased to announce two new appointments to its Board ofDirectors. Peter Hickson will join the Board as Non-Executive Chairman andNigel Howes will join as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. Peter Hickson will replace Michael Smith as Non-Executive Chairman, MichaelSmith having announced his intention to retire from the Board of Communisis atthe Annual General Meeting last April. Peter Hickson (62) is a senior director with experience of working across anumber of industries and Boards. His current Board positions include: Chairmanof Anglian Water Group and Senior Independent Director of London & ContinentalRailways. Until the end of November 2007 he was also a director of Telent plc.Peter Hickson is a Chartered Accountant and served as Group Finance Director ofPowerGen plc from 1996 to 2002. He was also a Non-Executive Director of ScottishPower plc from 2006 to 2007 and RAC plc from 1994 to 2002. The Board is also pleased to welcome Nigel Howes as a Non-Executive Director.He will become a member of the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations Committeesand will assume the role of Chairman of the Audit Committee from next year'sAnnual General Meeting. Nigel Howes (56) is a Chartered Accountant who, as an Audit and Advisory partnerat Arthur Andersen from 1984 to 2002 and then at Deloitte from 2002 to 2004,worked at the highest level with major listed companies, international groupsand entrepreneurial organisations across a broad range of industry sectors. Nigel is a Non-Executive Director of ScS Upholstery plc, a fully listed nationalsofa retailer, where he is also the Senior Independent Director, Chairman of theAudit Committee and member of the Remuneration and Nominations Committees. Hewas also a Non-Executive Director of Wraith plc until its acquisition by aprivate equity group and delisting earlier this year. There are no further details to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13 of theListing Rules of the London Stock Exchange.
