Appointment of Non-Executive Director
CMC Markets plc announces that Clare Francis will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 19 December 2022. Clare will also become Chair of the Group Risk Committee, the Consumer Duty Champion for the Group and will also be a member of the Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees with effect from that date.
Clare is currently a Board Director on the U.K. Department of International Trade's TAG and Infrastructure Exports board. In a career spanning 25 years in banking and markets, Clare was most recently Europe Head of Global Banking, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank UK, and Global Head Investors, Insurance and Public Sector. Clare has also held roles as Global Head of Global Corporates & International at Lloyds Banking Group and was previously Head of European Financial Market Sales at HSBC, having begun her career at NatWest. She has sat on the boards of the Association of Financial Markets Europe (AFME) and British American Business (BAB).
