BOARD CHANGES

City of London Investment Group is pleased to announce that Susannah Nicklin will be joining the Board as of 1 July, 2017. Susannah is an investment and financial services professional with 20 years of experience in executive roles at Goldman Sachs and Alliance Bernstein in the US, Australia and the UK. She has also worked in the social impact private equity sector with Bridges Ventures and the Global Impact Investing Network. Susannah is a Non-Executive Director of Pantheon International plc, Amati VCT 2, and sits on the Investment Committee of Impact Ventures UK.

Upon joining Susannah will become a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees and take over from Allan Bufferd as Chair of the Nominations Committee.

There is no further information required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules.

As announced in the interim results, Allan Bufferd, Senior Independent Director, will be retiring from the Board as at 30 June, 2017. The Board expresses its appreciation for his contribution over the last nine years - his experience and wise counsel will be greatly missed. Barry Aling will take over as Senior Independent Director.
