Corporate Update

CIC (AIM: CICC), the consulting and advisory firm operating primarily in the mining and energy infrastructure sectors, is pleased to provide a general corporate update.

CIC Gold Limited - ("CICG")

The Company has increased its equity interest in CICG for additional advisory services to 71,840,000 shares or 59.87%. The Company will dispose of any equity above 49% before the fiscal year end. The total issued share capital of CICG is 120,000,000 common shares.

CICG is putting in place a new holding company which is a Canadian Company that is a public issuer (delisted and not quoted on any exchange) and is subject to Canadian regulations. The new holding company will be renamed CIC Gold Ltd.

CIC Brancepeth Coal Limited - CIC Coal

The Company has established CIC Coal for future listings on an appropriate stockmarket of CIC's coal mining clients. The Company has established a Chinese subsidiary company "King Harmony Group [Limited]" to facilitate coal trading and logistics operations. King Harmony is fully permitted in China to import and export energy commodities, a process that took nearly two years. The Company will include assets from Chinese and western coal operators.

New Advisors Appointed in Canada

To aid the Company in removing Canadian Cease Trade Orders which currently restrict Canadian residents from trading their shares, the Company has appointed as Securities Lawyers Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP and Mackay LLP for Canadian Audit.
