Cohort PLC09 May 2006 COHORT PLC Simon Walther appointed as Finance Director The Board of Cohort plc, owner of Systems Consultants Services Limited ("SCS"),a leading independent defence technical services business, is pleased toannounce the appointment of Simon Walther as Finance Director with effect from 9May 2006. Simon has considerable industry-relevant experience having been Group FinancialController at Alvis plc for eight years and, most recently, a consultant to BAESystems. A qualified Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross (1989-1992), Simon moved tothe Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company (P&O) where he wasappointed a Chief Accountant for P&O European Ferries in 1995. In 1997 he wasappointed Group Financial Controller at Alvis plc. Andrew Thomis, who has temporarily filled the Finance Director role sinceflotation in March, will now concentrate fully on his intended Board position ofCorporate Development Director.
