China Shoto receives Silver Core Partner Award from Huawei Technology
China Shoto plc (AIM: CHNS), a leading Chinese battery producer and the largest supplier of back-up batteries to China's telecommunications operators, is pleased to announce that the Company has received the Silver Core Partner Award from Huawei Technology Co., Ltd ("Huawei").
Huawei Technology is a leading global telecom solutions provider, whose products and solutions have been distributed in over 100 countries. The Award is in recognition of China Shoto's achievements as a core supplier to and strategic partner of Huawei.
China Shoto Chairman Yang Shanji said: "China Shoto is the only battery manufacturer in China to have been awarded this honour. The award is recognition by Huawei Technology of the high standard of our products and services. We have seen sales to Huawei increase materially and we are confident that this award will underpin our continuing strong relationship with Huawei."
China Shoto has been a supplier to Huawei since 2007. It is one of only two battery manufacturers to have won the Huawei Silver Core Partner Award this year. China Shoto is now the largest single supplier of back-up batteries to Huawei.
