Churchill China plc, the AIM listed manufacturer and global distributor of ceramic and related products to hospitality and retail markets is pleased to update the market in respect of trading for the six months to 30 June 2012.

Trading has continued at levels in line with those experienced in the early part of the year. The Group currently expects to meet market estimates in relation to improved performance across the year with good progress towards these expectations being made in the first half.

Both divisions have made progress against strategic targets and the Board has been particularly pleased with the continued recovery in our Retail business.

Churchill China plc expects to issue its Interim Results on 30 August 2012.
