Exercise of Options and Director/PDMR Shareholding

The Company would like to notify the market of the following exercises of ordinary share options and dealings in ordinary shares of 10p each ('Ordinary Shares') by Directors of the Company.

The Company was also notified yesterday that on 26 October 2011, the following directors sold shares in the Company.

David Taylor sold 14,000 ordinary shares at a price of 265 pence per share. Following this transaction, David Taylor is interested in 18,500 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.17% of the Company's total issued share capital.

Iain Hicks sold 5,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 265 pence per share. Following this transaction, Iain Hicks is interested in 3,500 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.03% of the Company's total issued share capital.

David O'Connor sold 4,000 Ordinary Shares at 265 pence per share. Following this transaction, David O'Connor is interested in 5,599 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.05% of the Company's total issued share capital.

The share options exercised by David Taylor were granted in April 2002, these options were due to lapse in April 2012. The options exercised by Iain Hicks and David O'Connor were granted in April 2004.

In total 64,000 ordinary share options were exercised by directors and staff. These were satisfied by an issue from Treasury and following this issue there are now 13,000 shares remaining in Treasury.

Following the exercise of these share options, the Company's total issued share capital consists of 10,957,976 Ordinary Shares 13,000 of which are held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 10,944,976.
