Interim Management Statement and AGM

Castings plc will be holding its Annual General Meeting this afternoon and at the meeting the Chairman, Brian Cooke, will make the following statement.

The first three months trading is in line with the end of the last financial year. We have so far had no indications of reductions in our customer schedules and we expect trading to be satisfactory for at least the next 3 months.

We must always be aware of the continued economic problems in Europe and the rest of the world and be able to react to changes as and when they might occur.
