Preliminary Environmental Studies at Clontibret Gold Project Completed
* Detailed environmental monitoring and site assessments initiated * Ecological studies underway * Surface water monitoring locations established * Weather station installed
Conroy (AIM: CGNR; ESM: CGNR.I), is pleased to announce that further to the announcement of 8 July 2010 Golder Associates ("Golder") has completed its preliminary environmental studies at its Clontibret gold project in Co. Monaghan, Ireland, where the Company plans to develop a gold mine.
Detailed environmental monitoring and site assessments have now been initiated by Golder. Ecological studies have also commenced, surface water monitoring locations have been established and a weather station has been installed.
Other aspects of the detailed environmental assessments will include hydrology, hydrogeology, socio-economic, soil and land uses, historic environment and cultural heritage, air quality, noise and vibration, nature conservation, landscape and visual impact, traffic and transportation, consultation with stakeholders, treatment processes, tailings disposal and a detailed restoration plan.
Further announcements will be made in due course as to progress regarding the Clontibret Project.
