Colefax Group PLC02 May 2006 Colefax Group PLC Grant of ESOP Options The Company today announces that options have been granted for nil considerationpursuant to agreements made between Mourant ECS Trustees (Jersey) Limited of 22Grenville Street, St Helier, Jersey JE4 8PX, as trustees of the Colefax GroupPlc Employees' Share Ownership Plan Trust (the "Trustees") and the Directorsnamed below: Director Number of Ordinary 10p Shares of the Company to which each option relates David Green 100,000Key Hall 100,000Rob Barker 75,000 The options were granted by the Trustees on 28th April 2006 and the aggregateexercise price per option payable by each person is £1 in total. The options areexercisable immediately but the shares may not be sold within three years of thegrant date. The options expire on 27th April 2016. The ESOP shares were acquiredby the Colefax Group Plc Employees Share Ownership Plan Trust between October1995 and September 2000 at an average cost of 65 pence per share.
