Computacenter PLC20 April 2005 Trading Update Since the start of the year, Computacenter has experienced difficult tradingconditions. Group sales are approximately 10% down compared to last year,although on an improving trend as the quarter has progressed. This revenueshortfall has been due to lower product sales; service revenues, other than inFrance, have increased in the quarter. The reduced product sales, coupled with an adverse change in mix towards lowermargin product, have generated smaller rebates from our major vendor. This hashad a material impact on achieved margins in the first quarter. We are projecting product revenues for the balance of the year to be broadlysimilar to last year and margins to be lower for the rest of the year, althoughnot to the same extent as we have experienced in the first quarter. Therefore,unless market conditions change, Computacenter's profits for the year will besubstantially below last year. We will give a further update on trading in our pre-close statement in earlyJuly.
