CAIRO, July 5th, 2010

The Commercial International Bank (Egypt) S.A.E. announced today that it will increase its issued and paid-up capital from EGP 2,950,721,800 to EGP 5,901,443,600 by capitalizing on its general reserve and a portion of its legal reserve based on the Bank's financial position as of 31 December 2009. The amount of increase of EGP 2,950,721,800 will be distributed among 295,072,180 free shares. The decision was concluded during the Board of Directors' meeting held on 12 May 2010 based on the delegation of the Extraordinary General Assembly held on 17 March 2010.

The free stock dividends will be disbursed as one free share for every outstanding share up to the closing of the trading session of Wednesday, 14 July 2010. The free shares will be distributed on Thursday, 15 July 2010 through Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry.

يسرالبنك التجارى الدولى (مصر) ش.م.م أن يعلن للسادة المساهمين أنه طبقاً لقرار مجلس الإدارة المنعقد بتاريخ 12/5/2010 والجمعية العامة غير العادية فى 17/3/2010 أنه تقرر زيادة رأس مال البنك المدفوع من 721,800،950،2 جنيه مصرى إلى 443,600،901،5 جنيه مصرى بزيادة مقدارها 2،950،721،800 جنيه مصرى وموزعة على عدد 295،072،180 سهم مجانى وذلك تمويلاً من الاحتياطى العام وجزء من الاحتياطى القانونى وفقاً للمركز المالى للبنك فى 31/12/2009.

وقد تقرر توزيع الأسهم المجانية بواقع واحد سهم مجانى لكل سهم أصلي من أسهم البنك قبل الزيادة وذلك لمشترى السهم حتى نهاية جلسة تداول يوم الأربعاء الموافق 14/7/2010 وعلى أن يتم توزيع الأسهم المجانية اعتباراً من يوم الخميس الموافق 15/7/2010، وذلك من خلال شركة مصر للمقاصة والتسوية والحفظ المركزى.
