Charles Stanley Group PLC29 January 2008 CHARLES STANLEY GROUP PLC ADDITIONAL LISTING Charles Stanley Group Plc (the 'Company') has been notified today that 185participants have acquired a total sum of 1,532,237 ordinary shares of 25p eachas a result of the exercise of options under the Company's Save As You EarnScheme at a price of 96 pence per share. Accordingly, application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for theseshares to be admitted to the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange fortrading. The shares rank pari passu with the existing issued shares of theCompany and dealings are expected to commence on Friday 1st February 2008.
