Central African Gold PLC23 October 2006 Central African Gold Plc / Ticker: CAN / Index: AIM / Sector: Mining & Exploration 23rd October 2006 Central African Gold Plc ("CAG" or "the Company") Results of AGM Central African Gold Plc, the AIM listed gold mining and exploration company,held its AGM today. The ordinary resolution granting the directors' authorityunder section 80 of the Companies Act 1985 to issue and allot relevantsecurities up to an aggregate nominal value equal to the whole of the authorisedbut unissued share capital of the Company was amended. This is so that suchauthority is now conditional on shareholder approval being obtained as to theacquisition of the Bibiani gold mine and related assets. This and all otherresolutions were duly passed. As per the announcement of 20 October 2006, shareholder approval for anadjournment of the EGM was also obtained.
