Mr. Jeffcoat is both an engineering graduate and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has considerable experience in international technology and engineering companies. From 2000 until 2009 he was Finance Director of Ultra Electronics Holdings plc and prior to that Group Financial Controller of Smiths Industries plc. He is a director of WYG plc and of Aberforth Smaller Companies Trust plc.
