Board Restructuring

SYNETY Group plc (AIM: SNTY.L) is pleased to announce the following restructuring of its Board of Directors which will take effect from 4 January 2016.

1) Peter Simmonds, who currently serves as Non-Executive Director, will be appointed as Non-Executive Chairman;

2) Simon Cleaver, who currently serves as Executive Chairman, will be appointed as Chief Executive Officer;

3) Mark Seemann, who currently serves as Chief Executive Officer, will continue to serve as an executive director to the Board as President and Co-Founder;

4) Dr. Georg Oehm who currently serves as Non-Executive Director will retire from the Board; and

5) As previously announced, David Whelan who serves as Non-Executive Director will retire from the Board.

Both Alan (Graham) Ward and Sophie Tomkins will continue to serve as Non-Executive Directors to the Board.

Simon Cleaver commented, "In light of the recent Board appointments, the Board decided that it was appropriate now to restructure the Board composition to ensure that the formation and structure is best suited to take Synety forward by capitalising fully on the strengths of those involved."

In addition to the above changes to Synety's plc Board, Andrew Jones, a director of Synety Limited, and currently the Group's Sales Director, will be taking up a secondment to take charge of Synety's US subsidiary in Boston.
