NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT

Capital & Regional plc, the UK focused retail property REIT, is pleased to announce the appointment of Katie Wadey as a Non-Executive Director, to take effect from 20 October 2020. As part of the new role, Katie will join the Audit, Remuneration and Responsible Business Committees.

Katie has over 20 years of multi industry experience across a range of customer engagement and commercial functions. She has held senior roles at blue chip consumer facing organisations including BT, LV=, Tesco, British Gas and Barclays Bank. In her current role as the Group Customer Director of FTSE 100 insurer Aviva Plc, Katie is responsible for customer experience and satisfaction across the Aviva Group.

Katie is a trustee of two community-based charities: Onside Youth Zones, a charity which provides young people in deprived areas with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to in their leisure time; and Transform Housing and Support, a local charity offering high-quality housing, support and home care to vulnerable people including ex-offenders, asylum seekers and abuse victims.
