LICENCE UPDATE

Cadogan today provides a further update regarding its Pirkovskoe and Zagoryanska special permits ("licences").

Following the ruling at the Kharkiv Appellate Administrative Court allowing Cadogan to appeal against the Poltava Region Commercial Court's earlier written decision of June 17 2008 regarding the Pirkovskoe licence, the appeal date has been scheduled for September 17, 2008. This is subject to written confirmation, which is expected to be received shortly, as is the appeal date regarding the Zagoryanska licence. 

Furthermore, in separate proceedings, the Poltava Regional Administrative Court has scheduled September 12, 2008 to hear the merits of Cadogan's earlier application in this Court to prevent Cadogan's licences being nullified in pursuance of the Orders of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Ukraine. On August 1, 2008 the earlier application resulted in an interim injunction against the Ministry, which continues to be effective. Cadogan is seeking for the injunction to be made permanent.
