Trading Update

Bioquell PLC ("Bioquell") (LSE symbol: BQE) - provider of specialist microbiological control technologies to the international Healthcare, Life Sciences & Defence markets today announces an update on its trading performance for the six months ended 30 June 2015.

Trading was in line with the Board's expectations.

We estimate that revenues for the Group's continuing activities (the Bio division) for the six months ended 30 June 2015, will be approximately £12.5 million (H1 2014: £12.3 million), an increase in the period of some 2%.

The Company had net cash of £47.7 million at 30 June 2015, of which £1.4m was used to pay the 2014 final dividend on 2 July.

The strategic review announced on 18 May 2015 is ongoing and there is no further update at this stage.

The interim results for the six months ended 30 June, 2015 are expected to be announced on 26 August, 2015.
