ORDINARY AND SPECIAL DIVIDEND DECLARATION

2.89 CENT PER SHARE DISTRIBUTION INCLUDING A 1.14 CENT SPECIAL DISTRIBUTION

BioPharma Credit PLC (LSE: BPCR), the specialist life sciences debt investor, is pleased to declare an interim dividend in respect of the quarterly financial period ending 31 December 2024 of 2.892309 cents per share, payable on 28 February 2025 to ordinary shareholders on the register as at 31 January 2025. The 2.892309 cents dividend comprises an ordinary dividend of 1.75 cents and a special dividend of 1.142309 cents. The ex-dividend date will be 30 January 2025.

The Company is currently paying and continues to target a 7-cent base annual dividend per ordinary share. After the payment of the dividend on 28 February 2025, dividends for the calendar year 2024 to date will total 10.18 cents. 

The Company has chosen to designate the entire amount of this interim dividend as an interest distribution. Shareholders in receipt of such a dividend will be treated for UK tax purposes as though they have received a payment of interest. This will result in a reduction in the corporation tax payable by the Company.

The default payment for dividends is in US dollars. However, shareholders can elect to have dividends paid in sterling (GBP) and the option to elect a sterling dividend payment for this dividend will be available to shareholders until 31 January 2025 (the "Election Date").
