Employee Benefit Trust purchase of shares
Bloomsbury Publishing plc ("Company") received notification on 7 April 2011 from the Ogier Employee Benefit Trustee Limited ("Trustee") as trustee of the Bloomsbury Employee Benefit Trust ("Trust") that on 7 April 2011 the Trustee acquired 639,350 ordinary shares in the Company at an average price of 131.63 pence per share. Following the purchase the Trustee held 1,600,610 ordinary shares representing 2.17% of the Company's issued share capital.
The Trust satisfies the exercise of awards and options granted under the share incentive schemes and Sharesave scheme of the Company. The potential beneficiaries of the Trust include the Executive Directors.
