Tecteon PLC16 June 2005 TECTEON PLC Product Delivery to Clement Clarke Communications Limited Tecteon PLC (http://www.tecteon.com), a leading provider of voice quality, comfort listening and hearing protection technologies and solutions announcesthat product design and development for the contract announced earlier this yearhas been completed and delivered to Clement Clarke Communications (C3) Limited.(http://www.c3headsets.com) The product TC-1000 (www.c3headsets.com/tc-1000) will interface to a range of C3headsets and can be retrofitted to existing headsets in the field. TC-1000 is anacoustic shock attenuator and daily average exposure limiter with voiceenhancement to protect operators of call centres and centralised operationservices. It is designed to deliver high quality voice with minimum listeningeffort, while protecting the user from acoustic shocks and high levels of noiseexposure through the headset. These protections are required by a number ofworking guidelines and legislation, including the latest amendment to EUDirective 2003/10/EC which comes into force in February 2006. Tecteon has achieved this by designing and developing the hardware referencedesign platform and subsequently integrating its proprietary voice qualitytechnologies and algorithms such as Audio Shock Attenuator, Automatic LevelControl, and Universal Tone Detector & Suppressor into the new product. TheTC-1000 will protect call centre operators against acoustic shocks and highlevels of daily exposure levels received through the incoming communicationchannel. Mark Lyon, Divisional Director at C3 stated: "The roll out of our TC-1000 product has gone incredibly smoothly and we areexceptionally pleased with the delivery of the technology by Tecteon PLC. Iwould like to congratulate the team on a first class achievement.
