Tecteon PLC04 February 2005 TECTEON PLC Board Changes Chief Executive Appointed Tecteon PLC ("Tecteon" or "the Company"), the software developer for the voicequality and telecommunications markets, announces that Dr. Amir Nooral has beenappointed as Chief Executive Officer and that Mikeal Edholm and Ziv Navoth,Non-executive Directors, have stepped down from the Board due to othercommitments. Dr Nooral joined Tecteon just over a year ago as Head of Sales and Marketing,following 6 years at Pace Micro Technology. During his time at Pace he developedgood relationships in the telecom, cable and satellite communications marketsthrough customer facing, commercial engineering and technical marketing. As atechnical manager he also delivered a number of projects successfully. Heobtained his B.Eng. & Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from The University ofLeeds. Following his graduation he was appointed a research fellow for a numberof years responsible for digital signal processing related projects in thetransport sector. Before joining Pace he was a senior research fellow at theTransport Research Institute(TRI) in Edinburgh where he raised substantialfunding for multi-disciplinary projects. Having worked with Amir for over a year, and got to know him well,the Board decided that he was the ideal candidate to take the business to thenext stage.
