Benchmark Holdings plc (AIM: BMK), the aquaculture health, nutrition and genetics business, announces that, at the General Meeting held earlier today, all resolutions proposed were duly passed by shareholders. Accordingly, the Company has raised gross proceeds of £43.0 million from the Fundraise and has issued and allotted 107,440,766 New Shares, conditional only on Admission becoming effective. Admission of the New Shares is expected at or around 8.00 a.m. on 19 February 2020.

Following Admission, the Company's issued ordinary share capital will comprise 667,359,046 Ordinary Shares, of which none are held in treasury. The above figure of 667,359,046 may be used by Shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the voting rights of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
