Board Appointment
B&M European Value Retail S.A. announces the following Board change.
Euan Sutherland is to be appointed, subject to shareholder approval, as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 20 January 2025 when he will also join the Remuneration and Nomination Committees of the Company.
Euan has over 30 years consumer goods and retail experience having held senior roles at Dixons Retail plc, Matalan plc and Kingfisher plc and board positions at the Co-operative Group, Superdry plc, Britvic plc, and Saga plc. Euan is the current Chief Executive Officer of A.G. Barr p.l.c.

As there is currently no vacancy in the office of a Director of the Company, in accordance with Luxembourg law, Euan Sutherland's appointment to the Board must be approved by a resolution of the shareholders of the Company. Accordingly, an Ordinary General Meeting of shareholders is to be convened on 20 January 2025 (the "Meeting") for that purpose. Subject to his appointment being approved at the Meeting, it will take effect immediately.
The Company makes this announcement in accordance with LR 6.4.6R of the Listing Rules.
There are no other matters to be disclosed under LR6.4.8R in relation to the appointment of Euan Sutherland.
