("Forbidden" or the "Company")

FORscene Cloud added by Siemens in India

Forbidden Technologies, the AIM quoted developer of the market leading Cloud video platform FORscene, is pleased to announce that it has signed a licence agreement with Siemens IT Solutions & Services India (PVT) Ltd. ("Siemens India"), its first major deal within one of the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India & China) nations, to run its own FORscene Cloud infrastructure in India.

The Media Delivery practice in Siemens India provides IT services to the local broadcast, production and telecoms community. Siemens India will install and manage its own FORscene Cloud which will be added to the Indian solutions portfolio. Using FORscene, the Media Delivery practice will be able to provide practical, scalable web enabled workflows to broadcast post production and other digital media clients.

India currently has a population of circa 1.2 billion and its film market, which includes the colloquially labelled "Bollywood", is one of the largest in the world, making over 1,200 films in 24 languages. With more than 1.8 million people in India working in the motion picture and television industry, the potential for FORscene capitalise on this market is heightened with this deal.

This licence follows a deal with Siemens IT Solutions & Services in South Africa earlier in the year and is the next step in Forbidden's expansion strategy of opening up large international markets through partnerships with established systems integrators.

Seetharaman Krishnamoorthy, Head - Communication, Media & Technology Vertical, Siemens IT Solutions, India said:

"Our clients are searching for proven web based workflows and Cloud based collaborative tools. The FORscene platform will allow us to offer a range of adaptive solutions to many of our existing and future clients. Our end to end solution workflow would enable broadcasters, production houses to Manage, Transcode, Package content assets remotely and distribute on to multiple platforms as a service over a cloud."

Greg Hirst, Business Development Director, Forbidden Technologies said:

"Signing an additional systems integrator contract with Siemens, this time in India, further expands our existing relationship with this multinational Group, while also extending the reach of the FORscene platform. We look forward to working with the Media Delivery practice to extend the boundaries of web based workflows in the sub-continent.

"This supports the Company's stated growth strategy and opens up opportunities to expand into countries previously unexploited by the Company."
