Beale PLC21 March 2006 21 March 2006 Trading Update At the Company's Annual General Meeting on 21 March 2006 the Chairman made thefollowing statement to shareholders on current trading conditions: "Since we last reported at the end of January 2006, like for like gross sales*for the 11 stores excluding Walton-on-Thames for the 9 weeks to 18 March 2006were level with last year. The Walton store closed on 21 January. Gross sales* for these 11 stores for the first 20 weeks of our current financialyear, to 18 March 2006, were 3.2% up on last year.
