Babcock announces the retirement of Franco Martinelli as Group Finance Director
After 18 years working for Babcock, Franco Martinelli has advised the Board of his intention to retire from his role as Group Finance Director. A process will start to appoint his successor. Franco will remain in his role, until his successor is in place.
Ruth Cairnie, Chair, said:
"I would like to thank Franco on behalf of the Board for his many years of dedicated service. He has made a valuable contribution to Babcock throughout his distinguished career, and has played a significant role in the strategic development of the Group. We all wish him the very best for his retirement."

Notes:
Franco's remuneration arrangements will remain in line with Babcock's Remuneration Policy. Babcock will make available his details required by section 430(2B) of the Companies Act 2006 on the date of his retirement. These will be in line with Babcock's remuneration policy. As he is retiring, he will be a good leaver in respect of Babcock's incentive schemes.
