UTI Bank Limited17 April 2007 DECISIONS TAKEN AT BOARD MEETING OF UTI BANK The Board of Directors of UTI Bank at its meeting held today has taken thefollowing decisions: 1. PAYMENT OF DIVIDEND FOR THE YEAR 2006-07 TO SHAREHOLDERS OF UTI BANK -INTIMATION REGARDING DESPATCH DATE OF DIVIDEND WARRANTS The Board of Directors of the Bank has recommended the payment of dividend @ 45%(Rs. 4.50 per equity share) on equity shares of the Bank and will be payableafter it is approved by the shareholders at the 13th AGM to be held on 1st June,2007. Pursuant to the requirement of clause 21 of the Listing Agreement, it isproposed to pay/despatch dividend warrants for the year 2006-07 to theShareholders of the Bank on or after 2nd June, 2007. Accordingly the date ofthe dividend warrants will be 2nd June, 2007. 2. BOOK CLOSURE - 21ST MAY, 2007 TO 1ST JUNE, 2007 (bdi) Pursuant to the requirement of clause 16 and other applicable provisions of theListing Agreement, the Register of Members and the Share Transfer Books of theBank will remain closed from Monday, the 21st May, 2007 to Friday, the 1stJune, 2007 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of the Thirteenth AnnualGeneral Meeting of the Bank and for determining the entitlement of dividenddeclared, if any, for the year ended 31st March, 2007. The Thirteenth Annual General Meeting of the shareholder is scheduled to be heldat Ahmedabad on 1st June, 2007. All shareholders whose names will appear on theRegister of Members of the Bank on 21st May, 2007, will be entitled to receivethe dividend.
