Contract Win

Avanti Communications Group plc (AIM: AVN) ("Avanti" or the "Company"), the broadband satellite operator, is delighted to announce that it has signed a 3 year managed services contract with the Spanish service provider NASSAT - Network & Satellite Systems de España. Avanti services will be delivered via its HYLAS 1 satellite, successfully launched into orbit on November 26th 2010.

NASSAT provides satellite communication services, mainly to enterprise and media customers, but it also has specialist contracts with fire services and television stations. As well as fixed services it has transportable and quickly deployable systems for civil and government customers where demand continues to rise for cost effective bandwidth.
