Settlement of claim
Avingtrans plcΒ is pleased to announce that settlement has been reached in respect ofΒ the Group'sΒ claimΒ against the vendors of B&D Patterns Ltd ("B&D")Β relating to the purchase of B&D by AvingtransΒ plcΒ onΒ 21Β September 2006Β as highlighted in the 2008 Chairman's Statement.Β
Under the settlement, the vendors of B&D have agreed to pay Avingtrans Β£1.25 million inclusive of costs.
Commenting on the settlement,Β SteveΒ McQuillan, Chief Executive ofΒ Avingtrans, said:Β
"I am very pleased that anΒ amicable agreement has been reached withΒ the vendors of B&DΒ which I believe represents a fair resolution of our claim".
