Avingtrans PLC21 December 2006 Avingtrans plcDirector Shareholding21 December 2006 Avingtrans plc was notified on 20 December 2006 of the following transactions inshares of the Company that were made on 19 December 2006 by directors of theCompany. On 19 December 2006, Ken Baker exercised and sold 60,000 options over ordinaryshares in the Company. Also on 19 December 2006, Steve Lawrence exercised andsold 50,000 options over ordinary shares in the Company. The sales werecompleted to meet demand from institutional shareholders Both sales were completed at a price per share of 167 pence. Pursuant to the above described exercise of share options by Mr Baker and MrLawrence, Avingtrans announces that 110,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in theCompany have been allotted. Application has been made to the London StockExchange for the new ordinary shares to be admitted to Alternative InvestmentMarket and it is expected that admission will take place on 29 December 2006.The new ordinary shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares of theCompany. Following the allotment the total issued share capital of the Companyhas increased to 17,463,577 ordinary shares.
