Directorate changes

Aurora Russia Limited ("Aurora Russia" or the "Company"), the AIM-quoted investment vehicle established to make equity or equity-related investments in small and mid-sized private companies in Russia, today announces that Dan Collinson Koch, Non Executive Director of Aurora Russia, has been appointed Chairman of the board.

Dan Koch will assume the Chairmanship from Sir Trevor Chinn. Sir Trevor has decided to resign to devote more time to his charitable activities specifically to focus on his recent appointment as Chairman of the Mayor's Fund for London the goal of which is to relieve poverty in London.

Commenting on the appointment, John McRoberts and James Cook, Directors of Aurora Investment Advisors said: 

"Dan recently joined Aurora Russia as a Non Executive Director and we are delighted to announce his appointment as the new Chairman of the Company. His considerable experience in advising Russian companies makes him the ideal choice to further develop both our pipeline and our current investments which are all demonstrating strong growth. 

"We would like to sincerely thank Sir Trevor for his significant contribution to Aurora Russia since its flotation in March 2006. He has brought an enormous amount of experience and insight to the Board over this period and we expect that he will continue to be a good friend to the Company offering any advice that he can over the years ahead. We wish him well in his new appointment as the Chairman of the Mayor's Fund for London and he departs with our best wishes."

Information on Dan Koch

Dan is currently the Chairman of Deloitte & Touche CIS ("Deloitte" or the "Firm") having held positions as CEO and Managing Partner of the CIS Firm. Dan has been resident in Russia for the past ten years. He has more than thirty years of public accounting and international executive experience. Under his leadership Deloitte has enjoyed a compound annual growth rate in revenues of 62 per cent. Over the last six years and during his tenure as CEO, the Firm's staff numbers grew from 150 to approaching 4000. 

Dan has had overall responsibility for major clients of the firm including Norilsk Nickel, AFK Sistema and MTS.
