Board Change
ASOS plc today announces that Peter Williams will be stepping down from the Board of ASOS plc with effect from the Company's Annual General Meeting on 4 December 2013, after serving nearly 8 years with the Company. A process has commenced to identify a successor to Peter as Chairman of the Audit Committee, and Peter will effect a smooth handover with his successor.
Brian McBride, ASOS Chairman said,
"I would like to thank Peter for his significant contribution to the development of the Company. Peter has played a major role in the ASOS story and, on behalf of the Board, I would like to express our gratitude."
Peter Williamssaid,
"ASOS has been an exhilarating experience for me, and it has been both a pleasure and a privilege to have served on the board of what has become one of the world's leading online fashion stores. I would like to wish all of the ASOS team every success for the future."
